I have known Dr. Angela Sinnett for my entire career, and I mean that literally. She is the founder of Strategic Fertility and Magnolia Wellness, an acupuncturist who just earned her doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2025, and honestly one of the most passionate healers I know. When I sat down with her for this episode, I wanted to focus on something close to both of our hearts: helping women understand that natural fertility support is not just possible, it is powerful.
Angela told me something that stopped me in my tracks. When a woman goes to her doctor because she is struggling to conceive, she is usually given exactly three options. Try naturally for a year. If that does not work, move to Clomid, IUI, or IVF. That is it. No conversation about inflammation, no conversation about nerve function, no conversation about whether her body actually has the resources it needs to create life. Angela started Strategic Fertility because she saw a massive gap between those two extremes, and she was not willing to let women fall into it.
She told me about a woman she worked with who came to her with two blocked fallopian tubes and had been told by more than one doctor that pregnancy simply was not possible for her. Angela had never worked with a case quite like it, but she said yes anyway. Eight or nine months of real lifestyle and diet changes later, that woman conceived naturally. She now has two beautiful daughters. I love that story because it is proof of something I say all the time. Our bodies were designed to heal. We just have to give them what they need to do it.
This is where our two worlds collide. Angela has been under Blair care for years, and she is one of the biggest advocates I have for this work, not because I asked her to be, but because she has lived it. Her husband was in a car accident so severe he had to climb out through the sunroof, and the first phone call Angela made was to my office. He came in, got adjusted, and never had a lingering issue from that accident. She has referred her entire family and more patients than I can count, and now she refers people to Blair doctors all over the country because she trusts what happens when the top of the spine is actually in alignment.
Here is why that matters so much for fertility specifically. At the very top of your neck sits your brain stem, which is really just an extension of your brain and spinal cord. That area is called the cranial cervical junction, and when it is out of alignment, everything downstream of it, all the way to your pelvis, is affected. I explained it to Angela using one of my favorite analogies. Think of a garden hose. If there is a kink in it, no water gets through no matter how good the hose is. But release that kink, and the whole garden blooms. The pudendal and lumbar plexuses, the nerve bundles that innervate your ovaries, your fallopian tubes, and your uterus, all depend on a clear channel of communication running down from that junction. If the channel is irritated or compressed, your reproductive system simply cannot function at its full capacity.
We also touched on something I think does not get talked about enough. So many young girls are put on birth control in their early teens to manage cramps or irregular periods, sometimes for a full decade, without anyone ever asking what caused those symptoms in the first place. Angela sees the fallout from this constantly in women who come to her years later wondering why their bodies will not work the way they expect. Her answer, and mine, is the same. Treat the root cause. Do not just quiet the symptom.
What I love most about Angela is that she never lets fear lead the conversation. She leads with hope, with options, and with a genuine belief that women's bodies already know how to do this. My hope is that if you are in the middle of your own fertility journey, or you love someone who is, this conversation reminds you that there is so much more available to you than you have been told.
