Understanding The Emotion Code With Rose Morro

Unlocking Emotions To Have Deep Healing

I’m excited about my guest. Rose Morro has been an energy healer for several years now and it all started with a journey that began many years ago from a personal family tragedy. She has a lot of information to tell us about the Emotion Code and what she does through energy healing and Blair chiropractic, which work well together. I’m excited to have her on the show. Welcome, Rose.

Thank you, Dr. Hoefer. I’m very honored and grateful to be here.

It’s been fun taking care of you and I’ve been wanting to have you on the show for a while, so that people can understand truly what it is that you do. Get a little bit more information about how this energy healing works and what is so fascinating about it. I can’t wait for you to dive in and give us some instruction. I wanted to start off because I read your bio and I know you as a patient. I wanted to talk about how interesting it is that when we go through personal tragedy and heartache, it leads us to the calling that we have for our life. I know that’s true for me in the Blair Upper Cervical work, but your story is incredible. Can you talk to us and give us a little background about where you’ve been and what you’ve been up to?

Many years ago, my family went through an unexpected and heart-wrenching separation. After my divorce, I had three teenage almost adult kids and something happened in the family where we were separated. Even though post-divorce, I had read many different self-help books and gone to workshops and I’m always interested in personal growth and healing. During this time, I would go through all kinds of different methodologies and yet, I still felt stuck. I even moved countries and went back to France. I love the French language. I went back to university. A friend sent me a link to The Emotion Code and I’d listened to Dr. Bradley Nelson, the author of the book speak.

You know sometimes even though you can’t see someone, you can hear their voice and hear the way they answer the questions, you get a feeling that they’re very authentic and trustworthy. I had that sense. Immediately, I read The Emotion Code and I started practicing it on myself. Five years prior, I happened to learn muscle testing at a workshop and it was totally unrelated to energy healing. I already had, without even knowing, enough tools. As you said, a personal reason is I wanted to pull myself together and change my diet. I even changed my language. I’m so intent on this growth journey. I saw that the Emotion Code was a little different from the other ways I had looked at for healing. It went right down into the subconscious, and that is the key to this work because we don’t know exactly what’s going on there. Muscle testing is the line of communication down into the subconscious and that’s where all the past simmers there without us knowing. We pull that up.

The interesting thing about what you do and the work that I do through the Blair Upper Cervical, it’s so connected. I once read a book called The Body Keeps the Score, and it’s exactly what you’re saying. The body literally remembers everything. When I talk about retracing or when we go through the healing cycle after you’ve held your upper cervical correction, your body remembers things and it starts to let it go in layers. What you’re describing is the subconscious that is letting go because you’re tapping into it and you’re unlocking it.

It was such an open door and you take that baby steps with things that are new to us and we start on that path. My kids were a couple of years older by that time and we reconnected. Even to this day, they love this work, “Mom, can I have a session?” Here they are in the late twenties, it’s fantastic. I love what you do, Dr. Hoefer, because even before I go to your appointment, if I’m feeling something in my neck, I asked myself, “I connect with my subconscious through muscle testing. Is there a trapped emotion underneath this discomfort or tension I’m feeling here in my neck or shoulder?” Before I go to you, I release those. With the intention that your beautiful and gentle adjustment will hold even better because I’ve taken out an underlying cause.

You experienced it when we did your initial narrative, and this is what I walked through all with my new patients is going through that trauma history and understanding from a physical, emotional and chemical standpoint where someone has been.

That’s also a good point because The Emotion Code is a roadmap in identifying some trapped emotions that can affect our emotional wellbeing and as you said, also our physical, spiritual and mental wellbeing. It’s powerful yet subtle. It’s like your work.

The Emotion Code

What’s so cool is that both of our work is incredible on its own, but together it’s synergistic. Talk to me about your experience having come-in to get the Blair Upper Cervical correction and how that manifests through your Emotion Code work? What have you noticed with your healing and those that you take care of that have done the Blair care?

In fact, one of my clients referred you to me, so I love that integration of the work already and that sense of trust in what you do. I released a few trapped emotions but before I went to you, I noticed that the thing that strikes me the most is that it’s so gentle and also non-invasive where there’s no cracking or that scary popping when your neck is adjusted in a regular manner. The questions you asked me about my health history too. Often when you ask questions, you’re adjusting at the same time, almost like your special technique and you’re looking for those underlying causes.

You’ll have to explain this to everybody, but those acupressure points that you manipulate, it seems to work in tandem with that synergy with what’s going on in the emotional body and then you tap into that. When we release trapped emotions through the Emotion Code, we pass down the Governing Meridian, which is the main meridian in the Chinese acupuncture system to release the trapped emotions from the body. Here we are, we’re accessing that beautiful meridian system as well.

It’s awesome that it’s connected. You’ve mentioned trapped emotions a few times. Can you give a little bit deeper explanation for the audience?

Trapped emotions are essentially when we feel an emotion, especially during these uncertain times, sometimes the emotional intensity is too great for our body to let it go. They’re literally bowls of energy and they run anywhere between the size of a golf ball or a small melon and they become trapped. They affect the meridian flow, even the lymph and blood flow. They can also affect our emotional state. When they get stuck in the body especially in the neck, the shoulders, the lower back those, those areas that are very sensitive, they cause a discord in the energy field and that causes pain. I do believe your work can relieve some of those emotional balls of energy, those trapped emotions because you open up the flow safe.

The reason why I am a Blair Upper Cervical chiropractor is because I suffered for many years with depression and anxiety to the point of suicidal ideology. A Blair Upper Cervical correction healed my mind, saved my life, and I knew that I had to spend the rest of my life doing that. It’s because of my own personal pain and the trauma that I walked through as a young child and as a young woman, to experience the healing of the Blair work led me down this path. That’s why I’m so passionate about it. I attract people like you into my practice that are synergistic in the way that they look at health, healing and holistically observe the nature of how the entire body processes things.

HOS Rose | Emotion CodeIt’s so neat to have this synergistic thing. We do share patients and it’s cool to be able to do the work that I do from a structural standpoint, and then send them to you and you do the emotional detox with them. It’s an outstanding partnership and I love it. Talk to me about muscle testing because you said that you had learned that years before and you didn’t understand that they were necessarily related. It seems as if you learned that to be in the perfect position to accept this in.

I sure was in alignment. Muscle testing is a basic form of applied kinesiology essentially to connect with the subconscious mind. Within and around our bodies, there’s an electrical circuitry. Since energy runs the muscles, if anything impacts the muscular system or electrical system that does not align with muscles with our body even momentarily. Things like emotions or thoughts, momentarily they weaken for a bit. It’s interesting. In the binary system, it’s yes or no. We can connect with our own subconscious as well as with people we’re working with.

Sometimes, the person on a conscious level doesn’t know why they have a sore neck, “Maybe I slept in the wrong position or something,” but the subconscious goes deeper. It knows exactly what’s going on. It traces and files away everything that’s ever happened to us, including things from the past and some fears we might have. You’ve probably seen it too in your practice that this work is becoming more of a necessity rather than, “I think I’ll have a little session.” No, it becomes a way to release things that can re-balance and maintain our balance in our energy field.

Something that I’ve been interested in learning more about is the ancestral trauma that we all inherit from the people that came before us and the grand experience that we have as humans. We’re connected to our great-great-grandmothers through our genes. People wonder why there are certain cultures, certain traits and certain families that express these certain things. It isn’t a wonder. It’s biological and it’s trauma. If we go and do the work, we can reverse that for the people that experienced it in the past and for our future generations.

You and I talked about the book, It Didn’t Start With You. Can you tell me about that book?

I told you about it because after I learned about my situation with the DNA, I was like, “Wow.” Now that who my people are, I totally understand why I am the way I am, the feistiness that I have, the passion and the perseverance that I have. It comes from the DNA that was given to me. That book has been so helpful to me because it answers a lot of questions about why I think the way that I think and what drives me. It’s remarkable for me to be able to learn about my ancestry, understand the trauma and the experiences that they went through that have led me to where I am.

HOS Rose | Emotion Code
IT DIDN’T START WITH YOU: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle

I have an interest in that because with the Emotion Code, inherited trapped emotions do come up and we identify the mother or father. The beautiful thing about this work, and I know you resonate, no matter what comes up, they work from the heart rather than judgment. As you and I were talking about and you recommended, It Didn’t Start With You. It’s a beautiful book with all the latest research to show exactly what you said, Dr. Hoefer, that we can inherit trauma passed down through our DNA from our either mother or father. It’s interesting in the Emotion Code, we do identify and clear inherited trapped emotions. We do this work only from the heart rather than with any judgment. It’s cool too because even our mothers or fathers, it’s not their fault that they pass something down because it was a trapped emotion of say depression or anxiety that was passed down to them. It’s cool to be able to finally be able to release an inherited trapped emotion, especially from a child too so they don’t have to go through their adolescents feeling a certain way that they don’t understand.

What I think is fascinating is that when I was inside of my mother’s womb, my daughters that I gave birth to a generation later were also inside of her. It makes so much sense that I see tendencies in my daughters about things that my mother went through because I carried the eggs in my ovaries that were inside of my mother’s body. It makes so much sense from a physiological perspective how we were all exposed to that same trauma, but it’s showing up two generations later.

This is what we tap into. It’s mind-blowing how such a simple, non-invasive private healing modality can be so effective and working with you too. I know exactly you’re manipulating those pressure points, you get up and you feel recharged too. You feel that smooth flow again, the tension goes and then you also feel an uplift emotionally.

That’s the beauty of the supportive work. Once you have that original Blair correction and you hold it, the body literally unwinds and unleashes the trauma. It allows it to peel off like layers of onion if you will. Tell me about some of the people that you’ve worked with because I’m sure you’ve seen the entire spectrum of trauma.

There’s one client I worked with remotely. By the way, this work is just as effective on the phone, Skype or FaceTime. This young client of mine, she’s 32, if my memory serves me. She’s up in Seattle. She had a staph infection on the side of her hip. For six weeks, she went back to the surgeon and she had some surgery done but it wouldn’t heal. She wasn’t a new client but she hadn’t had a session for about a year. I said, “Let’s ask what’s underneath this staph infection.” It’s a physical issue. Everything that came up was all emotional to do with the relationship and family. We released all those energies. She went back to the clinic the following day and miraculously, they saw an improvement. She signed up for three consecutive sessions and the next week, the staph infection became smaller and smaller. The third and finally, it’s completely healed. It was releasing emotional energy. It had nothing to do on the surface. We were both fascinated.

That is a cool story. You’ve turned in your personal quest for healing into practice. Now, you get to work with clients all the time and you can do it in person, you can do it over Skype or Zoom, you can do it over the phone. What is the best way for somebody to find you and to be able to work with you? I want people to hear this to be able to get ahold of you, and then they can experience the Emotion Code for themselves.

Thank you. I have a website, BlissEnergyHealing.com and it’s been completely re-done. It’s easy to navigate. New clients will love the testimonials as well. They’re all relatable. It’s a beautiful way to find me as well. You can look at some Google Reviews just to give you an idea of what you can expect from an Emotion Code session with me.

HOS Rose | Emotion CodeRose, I am so excited that we got to have this conversation, learn more about Emotion Code, learn about your experience with the Blair work, and how you’ve integrated that for your own self and how you’ve taken the tragedy of your life and turned it into something that was redeemable. It’s a blessing to many other people. That’s what it’s all about.

I love to share this work. I say it’s empowering for people if they have an open mind and an open heart to do this for themselves. Sometimes people come to this work when their back is against the wall and nothing else has been effective. It’s a beautiful thing.

I’m excited for the readers to be able to reach out and find you, Bliss Energy Healing. I know that you do good work because I have seen it. I am excited for others to experience it too. Thank you so much for your time to talk with me on the show. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you so much. For the readers, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. We look forward to seeing you in the next episode. Thanks for reading.
